In this course you will learn how to make silver rings in 3 different material formats, so you can be prepared to do it from wherever you are with the materials available at your local suppliers. We will also carry out different finishes for each one: polished, aged and hammered.

One of the most basic pieces that we must master when learning to make jewelry is the manufacture of rings, controlling and deciding the ideal thickness for each job, and the calculation of sizes with their variables when measuring them.

You will learn to make a basic ring in silver: I will show you how to make it in different material formats such as square profile wire, half-round wire and from a sheet of metal, so you can be prepared to do it from wherever you are with the materials available at your local suppliers. In addition, we will carry out different finishes for each one: polished, aged and hammered.

This course is aimed at beginners in Goldsmithing and Jewelry, so you will need to have some of the basic and essential tools to set up a workshop, which I will mention throughout the course and will be included in the pdf of complementary material at the end of the course. On the other hand, the techniques learned in the course can be mixed however you like, so once you learn the basics, the combinations are endless!
